Another month has passed and the heat wave seems to be temporarily dissipated by cool morning & early afternoon showers, & yet the growing popularity of eating meals outdoors in the cooling breezes of dusk.
While cleaning my stuff last time, I came across a few old magazines, & before I knew it, I was skimming through the pages of stories about the different authors’ lifestyle, their problems in life & how they cope up with it. Such different stories, yet I think it focuses on 1 main thing about LIFE, how we set up our personal goals determine the rate of our success chances & brings out the kind of character we have. In order to achieve our goals in life, we should examine our own self & not others, some people are guilty of focusing on other people’s successes that they lose their own track as they get wrapped in cold jealousy instead of examining their own selves. We can’t blame them though, since we haven’t got a clue of the possible things they went through life, but by examining oneself, we draw out our own values & at the same time expand over our needs & wants in life. Each of us has a great quality that makes us unique in our own way, just that sometimes or even most of the time, we use in wrong manner, our wants in life when guided by the right values, helps us device our own action plans to think of our own system to achieve our own goals.
From a quote about life I found that I’d like to share: “Life is about happiness, which comes from a lasting & justified satisfaction with one’s life as a whole. Happiness includes the self respect that comes from accepting responsibility for one’s life & earning one’s way in the world. It flows from realizing your innate capacities by doing productive work & overcoming even more challenging obstacles, impelled more by your own inner imperatives than by the mere need to make a living.”
